I have had an amazing year photographing my very own baby girl, Violet Amelia. We have done some amazing setups, and everyone is always asking how I take such great photos of her, well the truth is that shes just an awesome little person. She will sit there, smile at any noise I make and always makes eye contact with my camera. I wish all babies would do this!
It is pretty simple to see that this little doll baby is the light of our lives, she is our very last baby, and naturally everything
we do for her is over the top. Since her newborn session I have been using natural flowers, it is my favorite

accessory to a girly photography session, and her name of course means I have to put her in some purple.

I named Violet for my sister Savanna who passed away when I just a baby. Her favorite color was purple, and I

have always remembered her in purple. I wanted to do something to remember her by, to honor her without actually

using her name, and so I chose the name Violet in honor of her beautiful memory.

Of our three girls, Violet is the only one who got her daddy’s beautiful blue eyes! 

That smile lights up every room !! 

Naturally she tried to share her cake with me!

ha ha what a great end to a perfect little cake smash!
