Milestone sessions happen around 3, 6, 9 and 11 months or anything in between 3 and 11 months. I prefer to have baby come in when they are fully sitting up. This is a great time to capture their personality, they just sit and laugh and are focused on the camera, it is the BEST!

Some parents will want to wait for a cake smash session, but I always try to advise them, not to skip the sitter milestone session. This age is jus the sweetest and it’s much easier to capture your little one as a sitter, then as a crawler or walker.

Violet came to see me at 7 months and she was so good for us. We finished her entire session, outfit changes and a feeding in just 30 minutes! Babies will only last so long when you’re asking them to sit and smile, so I aim to get a full gallery in a short amount of time.

I love all of Violet’s milestone photos, she came to see me as a newborn and was just as sweet!
