Sweet little Amelia came to my New Braunfels Baby Studio for her milestone session and she just wanted to be held by her mama, so we of course captured all of the sweetest mama cuddles!
This unexpected mommy and me turned into one of my all time favorite sessions!
So many mothers are hesitant to get in front of the camera, and I wish we would all just give in and get in the frame. As a mother of three young girls I know how hard motherhood can be, not just on our bodies, but on our mental health. After each of my children were born it took me a full two years to start feeling like myself again, a full TWO YEARS. If you’re a tired mama, a busy mama, a mama that has to go back to work, or one that gets to stay home and misses adult interaction, all of the above, I feel ya. I’ve had to leave my newborn baby at home and go back to work, I’ve gotten to stay home with my baby and felt lonely and guilty, I know how you feel. But let me tell you, getting in front of the camera with your sweet babies will help.
These first few months, days and weeks, they fly right by. Through the hectic days and sleepless nights, and all the mama guilt and love, it all rolls together into one beautiful memory. Take the time, fix your hair, and get in the photo, I promise you will not regret it.
Here are a few of my favorites from this gorgeous mommy and me milestone session. Enjoy ! And come see me for your own mommy and me session!
