Oh my goodness I just love my job! I love when clients bring their sweet little ones to see me for their newborn portraits, and it’s even more special when they come back with their second baby! I have photographed this sweet family for several sessions now and I love working with them!

I know just how important these first few days of life are. I know it’s hard to get everyone packed up and out of the house, on a schedule and dressed! I know mama, but goodness do these mamas pull it off every single time! Because these sessions aren’t just important, they are so much fun!

Parents always ask me how I have so much patience for such a labor intensive and tedious job, but I just do. I just love it. I love the details, the slowness of it, the posing of each little finger. The editing is another story, a labor of love. The end result being images that families will hang in their homes and love for years and years. I can’t help but wish I had images of myself as a newborn. There are no photos of me until I was about three years old. Perhaps thats what draws me in so much. I know the value of photos for children because I have very few.

If you’re on the fence, don’t be. The investment you’ll make in images of your baby and your family will hold their value for a lifetime. They are truly priceless.
