There is something super special for me when my newborn photography clients return for their milestone sessions.

Before their scheduled one year milestone session I’ll take a look at their newborn sessions. I’ll go over those tiny features and look at the colors we used and recall how small they were, only a year ago.

Emma was especially delicious and she took a little bit of warming up, but once I offered her some gold fish,

she was pretty sure I was good people. A way to a toddler’s heart is FOOD! In case you didn’t know that yet!

The sunlight for this outdoor milestone session was purely magical. I shoot most of my sessions with my 70-200 mm lens, it is my favorite! In case anyone was wondering. I love the closeness of my 35mm Sigma Art lens, but for me, nothing compares to the crisp dreaminess of my favorite lens. On my list is a 200mm, maybe one day when I grow up! ha

Emma’s mama is so sweet and softly asked if she may have just a few photos of her and her baby tougher. UM YES mama!

Emma is the first baby to use my new all white vintage high chair, and I love it! My neighbor actually gifted it to me and it is in

pristine condition, totally sweet right!?

Emma is such a sweet one year old, she even offered us some of her yummy CAKE!

Happy 1st birthday sweet baby girl!!! I can’t wait to see you again!!!
