Camilla was so sweet for her newborn photography session! I photographed her older brother 3 years ago and I was so happy when their mama contacted me for her second baby, and GIRL!
Girl sessions are really so much fun! The flowers and pink colors always make my girl mama heart happy!
Camilla’s mama wanted different colors than the normal pink, so we went with a beautiful lace mauve, teal, and lilac!

I just love getting to capture sweet babies in their first days of life. This time is so fleeting, it goes by so quickly and before we know it our babies are sleeping through the night, walking, talking. Newborn photos haven’t always been a necessity for new parents but I am so happy to see the trend is on the rise.

Newborn sessions, much like Maternity sessions have become a staple for new parents and it makes my heart so happy! I don’t know what I looked like as a newborn and I wish I did!

Someone asked me once if I had a ton of photos of my own children, and I responded with, yes but it could never be enough. I look back at photos I took of my littles just months ago, and they’ve already grown so much!

The newborn stage is hard, but it’s also the most beautiful time in our lives.
